  • ASSOCIATE   He has twenty five years experience as an operator, leader, executive, crisis manager and entrepreneur. He has participated either as founder, President and CEO, or Director in multiple companies in the risk management, manufacturing, construction and project management industries with cumulative sales of $100 million or more annually by 2003. In his capacity as an operator and emergency responder he has led or participated in emergency relief, security, assessment, project management and support operations, including efforts in Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa. He has also participated in and was a key member of multiple risk management strategic planning and mitigation initiatives and numerous real-life crisis management scenarios, including K&R and extortion incidents, as well as numerous emergency planning and disaster response situations.


  • ASSOCIATE   He managed and supervised all aspects of civil and criminal investigations while an FBI Special Agent and later as CEO of his own international investigations firm with offices in Moscow, Ukraine and the USA. Conducted discreet background investigations; asset security assessment and recovery; physical countermeasure surveys; premise liability; due diligence; and expert witness testimony.   Designed and managed the Defense Awareness Program, established to accomplish a timely awareness of the hostile intelligence service activities targeted against industrial, corporate and technological facilities.


  • ASSOCIATE    He has over 25 years of experience in the fields of transportation security, Cyber and other white collar criminal investigations, unconventional warfare, counterterrorism and intelligence operations - subspecialties in physical, personal, and information protection.  Trained in safety and security for the maritime, and energy industries.   Skilled in conducting offensive operations and surveillance. Identifies critical threats, master plan and implement quick mitigation measures - particularly during a crisis.  Interface with multi agency principals to protect personnel, facilities and infrastructure.  Executive consultant and advisor to agencies and NGOs.  He provides technical and management leadership for various sectors of operations including business development, project planning, execution, and reporting.   He has earned several professional, academic, civic, athletic and other distinctions and has served in leadership roles as member of several Boards, Forums, International Societies and other preeminent Associations.   Serviced predominant high-tech companies contacting business with government agencies.   Introduce advanced technology and services into the public sector while protecting information, resources and assets and establishing key relationships worldwide.   Oversight of START-EMS Internal Management Systems, and Strategic Partners development.


  • ASSOCIATE    He spent twelve years in the New Zealand Army, the last nine being with the Special Air Service (S.A.S.). He served several tours with the counter terrorist team, and finally as assault group commander was responsible for the training and management of all entry team personnel.    In May, 1989, he left the Army and was sponsored into the United States as a Subject Matter Expert in the field of counter terrorism.  For two years he worked as a close VIP protection team member as well as conducting numerous courses for the US Military and Law Enforcement Communities. He is still active in the dignitary protection field and has performed security details in over twenty countries worldwide.  In 1991, he established the Tactical Explosive Entry School (TEES). This internationally recognized school conducted specialty classes for military and law enforcement personnel who were tasked to operate in high risk environments. From 1992-2007, he was a member of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department (Mississippi) where he held the rank of Captain (reserve status).  Since 1993, he has worked as an independent contractor for the U.S. Department of State’s Anti Terrorism Assistance Program that trains foreign law enforcement officers in skills associated with counter terrorism.  This training is conducted within the United States and at select locations abroad. He is now the director of Operations for Energy and Maritime Security Services where his attention is focused on supporting the Maritime industry at commercial and private levels.


  • ASSOCIATE   A Senior Foreign Service (FEOC) by the President and Congress, equivalent to the rank of Brigadier General, he is a career  USA Federal Law Enforcement Special Agent, with over thirty years’ service and experience beginning with the United States Secret Service, White House and Foreign Missions Divisions.  He has expert qualifications in counter‐terrorism, executive protection, criminal and national security investigations, risk management, major domestic and international event planning and staffing, asset protection, hostage negotiation, security surveys, firearms training and loss prevention.   He provided extensive international security support service under dangerous and critical threat conditions to American Embassies and missions abroad including Beirut, Cairo, Islamabad, Manila, Karachi, Jerusalem, Paris, Kuwait, Damascus, Lima, Mexico City, Papua New Guinea and Havana.   He was Agent‐in‐Charge of high risk and high profile protective details  including many world leaders.  He has extensive, continued positive national media exposure including ABC World News Tonight, Nightline, Good Morning America, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and  many other media outlets. He is the recipient of four Departmental Meritorious Honor Awards  including for actions in countering a terrorist ambush on the Secretary of State in an African Country and has served as the US Government Security Advisor to the US Olympic Committee for multiple Olympic Games.


  • ASSOCIATE   Has served with distinction for 35 years, the past twenty-five years as a Special Agent for the FBI and as a Diplomat.   Upon completion of Special Agent training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, he was assigned to the Houston Division in 1984.  While in Houston, he worked in a variety of capacities managing successful and complex investigations in the areas of Organized Crime, Violent Crime, International Terrorism and Counterintelligence.  He also spent four years recruiting FBI personnel and conducting Community and Corporate relations as well as Media relations as the FBI spokesperson for the Houston Division.  In recent years, he supervised the Houston Joint Terrorism Task Force and worked a variety of assignments both in the U.S. and overseas.   He has extensive experience working internationally with police, intelligence and judicial counterparts in the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America.   Additionally, he was a member of the FBI SWAT team for 10 years and served as an FBI Police Instructor throughout his career.   A Spanish speaker was appointed in December of 2002 to a Diplomatic post at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, Office of the Legal Attach where he served as Program Manager of International Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence matters until 2006.


  • ASSOCIATE   He was an officer with the British Army for eleven years in the Royal Irish Regiment and Royal Irish Rangers.   His roles included commanding close protection operations for a joint military and civilian organization in Iraq, serving within the Defense Procurement community, and a succession of commands of small unit tactics organizations.  He holds a MBA from Wharton Business School, a MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management from Leicester University (MSc is the English equivalent to an American MS), and a BA (Hons) in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Lancaster University.


  • ASSOCIATE   He has more than 25 years’ experience in emergency management, and law enforcement.   He is recognized as a subject matter expert in weapons of mass destruction (WMD), terrorism, and the integration of local, state, and federal crisis and consequence response assets. Began his career in 1984 as an Emergency Medical Technician in Boston and then as a Police Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).   Following service in the United States Navy he became increasingly involved in counter-terrorism work.   He has designed and executed National-level counter-terrorism exercises, developed response plans for WMD events, and built comprehensive and integrated response programs involving agencies at federal, state, and local levels.  Was deeply involved in the response to the September 11 terrorist attack in New York City.   At that time, he was responsible for the coordination and management of the Forward Command Center near the World Trade Center site.  He is also responsible for the development of the Archangel concept within the Los Angeles Police Department Counter terrorism Unit along with the development and implementation of the Automated Critical Asset Management System (ACAMS).
